American wedding, portrait & travel photographer, Emmarie Jackson photographs A Rustic and Elegant Wedding at Bethel Rock in Leonard Texas
I don't usually shoot rustic weddings because I never thought it was my style. I am geared more toward timeless, European inspired elegance and classic venues. However, Amber and Jeremy had a beautiful theme and I couldn't resist! The place! Oh my gosh! Lush greens that reminded me of Ireland but with Longhorns!
May 4th, 2024 (May the fourth be with you) was the day Amber married her best friend Jeremy. It was rustic, yes. But it was gorgeous! It wasn't the usual rustic country wedding typical of the south that I usually try not to shoot. Amber and Jeremy had a beautiful spring theme of vibrant colors. The view at Bethel Rock was breathtaking. Acres of lush greens, but the small pop of vibrant colors of the florals gave so much more life to the scenery.Â
Everything else was pure simplicity. The cake was a 2 tier cake adorned with greens, and the centerpieces were just simple candles and green garlands draped over the tables. The theme was sage green and grey. Bridesmaids wore chiffon sage green dresses while the men looked dapper in grey.
The perfect touch for this rustic but classic look were the longhorns grazing in the fields. It was pure beauty with Texan charm.
